Tigress are making over 70 short films for BBC1’s One Show – the new 7pm nightly show which starts in mid July and runs every weekday. The films are a mixture of wildlife and factual entertainment with presenters like Hardeep Singh Kohli, Carol Thatcher and Colin Jackson. Wildlife is presented by Steve Backshall and Ellie Harrison.
Hardeep is looking at the New Map of Britain – a strand which uncovers the new trends Social geographers are mapping of our country. They’ve discovered phenomena like the most divorcees per head live in Blackpool – the most tea is drunk in East Anglia….the women who spend most on fashion in Britain live in Birmingham. What they don’t necessarily know is why, so Hardeep travels the country finding out.
