DISCOVERY NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL’S HIT SERIES ‘MAROONED’ WITH ED STAFFORD TO RETURN FOR SECOND INSTALLMENT

(London, UK – November 16, 2015) – Discovery Networks International today announced that Ed Stafford’s epic MAROONED will return for a second season.

Produced by UK indie Tigress Productions, 6 x 60’ MAROONED season 2 will feature renowned adventurer and survivalist Ed Stafford, whose previous credits include the Discovery Channel series Ed Stafford: Into the Unknown, WALKING THE AMAZON and NAKED AND MAROONED.

MAROONED season 2, a 6 x 60’ series, will premiere on Discovery Channel across more than 220 countries and territories in 1Q 2015.

C5 HEADS TO LOCH LOMOND FOR NATURE DOC (Broadcast)

Channel 5 has commissioned a 4 part documentary series which will explore Loch Lomond.

The 4 x 60-minute series, Loch Lomond: A Year in the Wild, is a co-production between Tigress Productions and GroupM Entertainment. It will capture a year in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park and explore the impact of the changing seasons on the diverse ecosystem.

NIGEL SLATER: EATING TOGETHER REVIEW (The Guardian)

Nigel Slater is going in a tour of the world, and he’s not even leaving the country. A celebration of multi-culinary Britain called Nigel Slater@: Eating Together (BBC1), like a raised middle finger to another Nigel – Farage – though I’m pretty sure Nigel Slater doesn’t do raised fingers, unless it’s to stuff something. It’s a tour with a theme, and in this first leg the theme is dumplings.
