Production Details
The ‘Will Work for Nuts’ team are back. This time, Lloyd, Matt and James are going global (and a little bit feral) building the homes of three amazing animal architects and then living in them for two days.
In this unique and very public experiment, our expert team will build a beavers’ lodge (complete with underwater entrance), a multi-celled wasp nest and a hummingbird’s nest – each one scaled-up to human size. For the duration of the project, they and their creations will become wildlife ‘installations’ in some of the most iconic urban locations in the world.
Authenticity is the key and the aim is to show how amazing these animals are as engineers. So, the presenters will first find out how the animals do it for real. Then they will use the same materials and construction techniques for the final build.
It’s a massive challenge with no guaranteed outcome other than a lot of laughs and comic mishaps along the way. Commuters in New York, London & Chicago will experience a unique and totally unexpected spectacle while viewers are swept along in the excitement of three outlandishly ambitious projects.
