In this two-part scientific travelogue for PBS, charismatic geneticist Dr Spencer Wells travels to the ends of the Earth. He is searching for clues that will solve an age-old mystery: how did humans come to inhabit the four corners of the globe?  And why did we take 2 million years to colonise Africa and just 50,000 to conquer the rest of the world? On his travels, Wells uncovers vital pieces of the genetic jigsaw puzzle that at last solve the mystery of how Homo sapiens peopled the world.
