Jeff Corwin joins an elite hit squad of scientists on an adventurous mission to search out new species in one of the most remote and mysterious regions on Earth – the Himalayas.
The mysterious Makalu-Barun National Park, on the shoulder of Mount Everest in Nepal, is a “biodiversity hotspot” – a rugged, forested region that Conservation International has singled out as the destination of an extraordinary expedition.
Working day and night, a team of CI scientists will build an inventory of the region’s wildlife. They hope, and expect, to come across new species as they work.
