Birthday Zoo takes us behind the scenes at Chester Zoo – the largest zoological gardens in Britain. Famed for its conservation work, Chester Zoo is at the forefront of saving endangered species through an internationally recognized breeding programme. Cameras arrive in the spring and follow the keepers and animals through the births and birthdays of Chester Zoo’s most precious creatures.

From chimps to penguins, elephants to flamingos and Komodo Dragons to lemurs, this series brings to light the importance and dedication of the “Birthday Zoo”.
