BBC Security Correspondent, Frank Gardner, has dreamed of seeing birds of paradise since he was a boy. A dream that died in 2004 when he was shot by terrorists. 30 years ago, friend and explorer Benedict Allen left the Niowra people he lived with in Papua New Guinea. Despite Frank’s wheelchair and haunted by brutal secrets from the past, Benedict pledges to return to his remote home with Frank.
