Herpetologist, photographer and adventurer, Austin Stevens, is a true veteran of his field.  He has survived bites from highly venomous snakes, escaped the lethal coils of man-eating pythons, holed up in underground dens with hundreds of America’s deadliest snakes and dodged the lightening fast strikes of giant cannibalistic lizards; all in his quest to find and photograph some of the world’s most dangerous animals.

As he picks his way through impenetrable rainforest, crosses perilous rapids, and weathers the searing heat of the harshest deserts, Austin will share his passion for the animals that have not only dominated his life, but also almost ended it.
