C4 sends producer Wild for sole survior doc : Broadcast

Channel 4 will cross a frontier in survival programming by dropping a TV producer into the Canadian wilderness for 12 weeks with just a camera and a backpack.

Produced by Tigress, the 3 x 60 minute Alone in the Wild will see Ed Wardle left in isolation, recording his experiences of trying to survive mentally and physically.

Tigress Productions discovers Beachcomber Cottage for BBC2

Bristol, 26 June 2008: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions has been commissioned by BBC Two to produce a new series Beachcomber Cottage (working title), which follows Monty Halls as he spends a summer living on the remote west coast of Scotland.

The 8 x 30-minute series was commissioned by Richard Klein and will be executive produced by Wendy Rattray for BBC Scotland, by Emma Willis for BBC Documentaries and for Tigress by Dick Colthurst.
