Bristol, 24 April 2008: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions has been commissioned by UK broadcaster Channel 4 to produce an exciting new four-part factual series Around the World in Eighty Trades (working title).

Bristol, 27 March 2008: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions is further consolidating its relationship with UK broadcast Five, securing a new commission for a 2 x 60 minute show Mr & Mrs Wolf. This follows Tigress’ recent commissions of Jaguar Adventure with Nigel Marven and four new Nature Shock films also for Five.

Bristol, 28 February 2008: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions has been commissioned by UK broadcaster Five to produce a major new event series Jaguar Adventure with Nigel Marven. This follows the success of Tigress’ series Nigel Marven’s Shark Island which aired on the channel last year. In addition, Tigress is also producing a further four x 60-minute Nature Shock films for Five following a great reception for the first series which has recently aired on the channel.

The new half-hour series, Going Ape 2 (working title), will again follow the perilous lives of apes orphaned by the bush-meat trade in West Africa, rescued by frontline workers from the UK, US and Cameroon.

London, Bristol 15 March 2007: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions has been commissioned to produce two major natural history programmes, reflecting regional conservation issues. Saving Planet Earth – London and Saving Planet Earth – The West will both be aired as part of the BBC’s Saving Planet Earth strand which will broadcast in 2007.

Cannes, 8 October 2006: Animal Planet International, the world’s foremost animal entertainment brand, today announced that it has commissioned leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions to produce Going Ape, an edgy new 13x30 minute series about the protection of primates against loggers and bush meat traders. The series will premiere on Animal Planet International in the UK in November and in Europe, Asia and Canada in 2007.
