London/Bristol, July 4 2011: Bristol based Natural History specialist, Tigress Productions, has been commissioned by Channel 5’s Andrew O’Connell, Head of Factual, News and Current Affairs to produce a documentary series following the trials and tribulations of Shaun Foggett’s dream to set up the first Croc Zoo in Britain. It will hopefully house each of the 23 species of crocodile in the world.

London, May 23rd 2011: Bristol-based Tigress Productions has been commissioned by Nat Geo Wild to produce a new three part series, Live Like An Animal, in which an intrepid team will occupy human scale recreations of some of the animal kingdom’s most impressive architectural structures. Live Like An Animal will premiere globally on Nat Geo Wild in all territories including the U.S. and U.K. in 2012.

Secures commission for new series of Nature Shock films

Bristol, 28 February 2008: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions has been commissioned by UK broadcaster Five to produce a major new event series Jaguar Adventure with Nigel Marven. This follows the success of Tigress’ series Nigel Marven’s Shark Island which aired on the channel last year. In addition, Tigress is also producing a further four x 60-minute Nature Shock films for Five following a great reception for the first series which has recently aired on the channel.

Bristol, 11 September 2007: Leading independent factual producer Tigress Productions has been commissioned by UK broadcaster Five to produce a major new event series Nigel Marvin’s Shark Island.

Commissioned by Five’s Wildlife and Factual Acquisitions Executive Bethan Corney and directed by Michael Davies, the 5 x 45-minute and 1 x 30-minute series will air on the channel later this year. Tigress’ parent company IMG holds all international rights to the series.
